We are proud to present the 2008 Queen City Classic, the premier Hunter Show in the Southeast (recognized by the US Equestrian Federation -- rated AA). Featured events will include: $25k Hunt Team Challenge, $15k in Hunter Classics, $3,500k in Jumper Classics.
The Queen City Classic enters its fourth year with a lot to look forward to by choosing the “Central Piedmont Equine Rescue League” as our benefactor. We are working diligently to prepare for this years event. After choosing to move venues to better accommodate the growing number of entries to a facility in MonroeNC “Why Not An American Ark”.
It takes so much support from so many people that we need help from anybody willing to give it. The Queen City Classic benefits the Central Piedmont Equine Rescue League which has the primary goal of caring for abused, neglected, and/or abandoned equines. CPERL will also take in equine that are unwanted that current owners are unable to care for. They will also assist in natural disasters, such as weather related issues or individual tragedies. They will provide equines with proper medical and farrier care, in addition to good quality grain, hay, and water. Equines are then rehabilitated and placed in approved, caring, and loving homes.
